Never Forget

Where were you that sunny sept. Morning. The morning that Americans will never forget. Its was that early sept. 11 morning that brought tears to Americans lives. Yet, as a young 4th grader I was unaware of what was going on in our world. It was a question that we were all asking our teacher. As they tried there best not to unveil what was really going at the World Trade Center, it was impossible with twenty some 4th graders bugging you why there friends were going home. With a bunch of young little rascals that had never seen the Twin Towers or the Pentagon we had no idea what anybody was talking about. I was never allowed to do my home work in front of the t.v. that day was different than any other day. I have been to Washington many times, unfortunately never to New York to give respect for my country and all of the fall heroes. However, on the 7th anniversary of 9/11 I was honored to be at the opening of our Pentagon memorial. Crowds of people came to honor those that died that day, as well as there families. Washington is filled with memorials most have something in common with the other. There is nothing like the Pentagon Memorial. Washington truly did honor those who died and I am thankful for those firefighters and Military men and women.
